Android VideoKit Proposal

This proposal has been created to see how much attention a port of the VideoKit for iOS to Android would garner. If you are interested in a powerful video solution for Android, please comment or vote up this suggestion.
The following features will most likely be included in the first version:

Stream from popular protocols (http, mms, rtsp & rtmp)
Supports all popular audio & video codecs
Supports mjpeg streams – mostly for ipcams
Successful Audio & video syncing
Supports seeking in remote files
Fullscreen player
